The AFG-4 is a pyrotechnic hand grenade. It is filled with dried peas and made from foam polyurethane and a cardboard body. This grenade, imitating the "Flash-bang" effect, is a reduced version of the AFG-6 grenade. Compared to the AFG-6, it has a lower sound report and smaller dimensions, allowing it to be used indoors and stored in standard 40mm ammunition pouches.
