The piston is not partially cocked during semi-firing, spring does not fatigue, internal parts are not stressed, and nozzle mostly locks the chamber.
For high-rate weapons, it solves the problem of multiple shots in shooting mode on semi.
The device increases the cadence of guns and battery life compared to the original wiring in the weapon.
