The piston CNC duralumin head with axial bearing is made of duralumin EN AW 6012 T6 on a CNC machining center and excels in high processing precision with a low weight of 11.3 g. There are nine holes on the front side, through which air flows when compressed and expands the sealing O-ring, which improves the sealing of the space between the piston head and the cylinder. The design is complemented by an axial ball bearing allowing the spring to rotate smoothly during compression, which significantly increases its service life. The centering ring helps prevent damage to the cylinder and the relief on the rear wall contributes to an increase in muzzle velocity.
