LiPo battery serve excellently but require a bit more care than classic NiCd and NiMh accumulators. If you use a LiPo alarm or a voltage meter and disconnect the battery in time to charge it with a quality charger with a balancer, you don't have to worry about damage and it will serve you excellently.
Some guns are equipped with so-called smart electronics that can monitor the low voltage of LiPo batteries.
