The Helikon-Tex® RACCOON Mk2 is the second generation of a versatile 20-liter backpack designed for tactical and outdoor use. It is made from durable 500D Cordura® fabric, providing excellent durability and long service life even in demanding conditions. The Duck Hunter camouflage pattern helps the backpack blend naturally into outdoor environments.
The main compartment features a sleeve suitable for a hydration bladder up to 3 liters or a small laptop, along with an internal mesh pocket for organized storage. A covered top port allows routing of a hydration tube or electronic cables. The front compartment includes a practical organizer for small gear and everyday items.
Both compartments are secured with two-way YKK zippers protected by a storm flap to reduce moisture penetration. Drainage holes at the bottom allow water to escape if needed. The front and sides of the backpack feature PALS/MOLLE webbing for attaching additional gear. A VELCRO panel on the front allows the attachment of identification or morale patches, while an elastic shock cord provides quick storage for extra equipment.
For improved stability and comfort, the backpack includes side and bottom compression straps to adjust volume and secure carried equipment. The back panel is reinforced with a plastic stiffener and padded with 3D foam for improved ventilation and comfort. Anatomically shaped shoulder straps are lightly padded and equipped with an adjustable chest strap with a Fastex buckle. A removable waist belt is also included to help stabilize heavier loads.
