Airsoft and summer camps - do they go together?

Military, paintball, or other thematic camps focused on sports are no longer anything surprising. But what about airsoft themed camps? What options can you find and what awaits your children?

Shooting is not only fun for adults, children and young people can also learn shooting skills and experience an unforgettable summer. Army camps are intended for all lovers of action and adventure. What types of camps with a similar focus can you choose from and who organizes them? We can usually find three different types – commercial ones organized by an agency, smaller ones (mostly organized by civic associations), and finally suburban ones, which are basically a kind of compromise between a camp and a fun club.

Large commercial camps

Commercial camps, organized by an agency, offer unusual entertainment and professional conditions. They usually take place in weekly rotations throughout the summer holidays. Participants can rent complete equipment and will have recreational facilities at their disposal. They can count on a rich program, participate in interesting airsoft missions, and experience proper training. Similar camps are organized, for example, by Agentura 7 and many others. However, the disadvantage is their higher price.

Smaller camps with a story

Smaller camps are mostly the responsibility of various homes for children and youth and other civic associations. They tend to be more focused on a specific story and experience. Although there are only a few rounds, they are more combative and action-packed. They can resemble real combat exercises. Of course, there are also fewer participants and a lower price. And who organizes similar events? For example, House of Children and Youth Rychnov, Aréna Fénix, or Motorised reconnaissance group z.s.

Suburban camps

For those who do not want to leave home for a long time, there is another option. Undemanding suburban play camps. Can you imagine what they are like? The program is prepared in advance and takes place during the day. At night, those who want to can sleep at home. There is, of course, the possibility to rent all the airsoft equipment that will be needed for the game. These forms of camps are especially suitable for beginners who have not yet mastered the necessary skills and combat tactics. Aréna Fénix is a well-known organizer.

What happens at these types of airsoft camps?

Airsoft camps are intended for fans of military themes. They include event and safety instruction. Military training, health science, occupational health and safety (with airsoft weapons), physical training (everyone must be in good shape), shooting training (absolutely necessary to defeat the enemy), playing games, patrols, landings (e.g., helicopter landing simulation) and program preparation. There is also training of orders, obedience, and reinforcement of orders and discipline - depending on their abilities and how they will fulfill the orders of their superiors, the participants can get a higher or lower rank.

The camps are largely prepared by volunteers - Armymarket has long supported all organizations that work with young people.
